I draw on cognitive science and social epistemology to examine what shifts in human knowing and identity when the systems around them change — particularly as AI reshapes how communities produce knowledge and individuals form self-understanding. My years as an engineer inform the work.
Before turning to philosophy, I spent eight years as a software engineer—first immersed in startup culture, including the NSF Innovation Corps, then at Reddit and Apple.
I'm a multiracial transgender woman from San Antonio, Texas, now based in New York City via the San Francisco Bay Area.
