# Brief Intro - In Obsidian, you can bookmark notes, graph views, search queries, markdown headings, canvases, etc. - Bookmarks are their own entities and can be named. - You can also create bookmark groups, which are essentially folders of bookmarks and can be recursively nested. - This can provide a secondary hierarchical structure, besides folders. # Use Cases - Have a set of notes you want to keep top of mind? Bookmark them. - e.g. Bookmark a note titled "Yearly Goals" - Have a workflow where you're consistently working with a **common set of notes**? Create a bookmark group containing all those notes. - e.g. A bookmark group titled, "Next essay", that contains all the notes related to that essay. - Have a **graph view with specific filters** that you commonly use? Bookmark it. - Have a **search query** that you commonly use? Bookmark it. Introductory [YouTube video on Obsidian bookmarks](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEZ12ZDBtpw).
